What Does It Take to Write a Book?

2 September 2026 1 min read

What does it take to write a book? Years of struggle? Lots of research? Patience? Hard work? Well...

Apparently, mine took... raising a toddler. 😂

Research? I was living with the subject. Conflict? Try telling a toddler "No." Plot twists? She wants a banana. You give her a banana. HOW DARE YOU GIVE HER A BANANA..

And inspiration? That was everywhere. On the sofa. Under the dining table. Inside the kitchen cabinet. Usually yelling... "DA-DAAAAA!" So I watched. I laughed. I survived. And I wrote it all down. ❤️

Somewhere between... the tantrums, the toys, the sleepless nights, the ridiculous conversations... and the moments I never wanted to forget... a book happened. ❤️

A note from Arjun

I always thought writing your first book meant…

Sitting at a desk.

Coffee beside you.

Deep thoughts.

Long nights.

Very author-like things.

Apparently…

I did it differently. 😂

Thank you for reading. ♡

Occasional stories, little reflections, book news and thoughts I couldn't quite fit anywhere else. No noise. Just words worth keeping.
